Black River Electric Cooperative offers a variety of rebates to help you choose energy efficient appliances and home comfort systems. 

Restrictions and qualifications apply. All rebates require an active BREC membership. Rebates could take 4-6 weeks to process. Rebate checks are sent directly to the member.Call BREC at 573-783-3381 if you have any questions about the details of these rebates.

Ground Source Heat Pump / Geothermal Heat Pump 

Ground Source Heat Pumps are the most efficient heating and cooling systems on the market today.  They provide year-round comfort and the lowest operating costs available. 

 

Air Source Heat Pump / Mini Split (Ducted) 

  • Dual Fuel required - electric back-up systmes will not be accepted 

  • $500 per ton for New or Replacement System with New Fossil Fuel backup 

  • $300 per ton for a Replacement System with New Fossil Fuel Backup 

  • Must be Energy Star cold climate rating of 8.1 HSPF2 or greater 

  • AHRI Certificate and Invoice required upon submission
